September 2, 2014The learning resource center of any school should be the hub of learning! It is where students and staff come to find materials to enhance learning and reading enjoyment. It is where one comes to find answers to questions or learn more about something. It is expected to be an orderly environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.

September 4, 2014Representatives from George Breber Music Co. will be visiting District 200 to discuss band instrument rental for 5th grade students. To help expedite the process, meeting locations are suggested, depending upon the student’s school. However, if the suggested time is not convenient, parents are welcome to attend any session. There are several rental sessions available.

August 15, 2014District 200 is pleased to provide a new service to the D200 community, especially to Spanish-speaking families. Luis F. Barutell has joined the District staff as the Bilingual Parent Outreach Facilitator.
August 6, 2014The District 200 Administrative offices have ended the four-day per week summer schedule and have returned to the regular school year hours. The District Administrative Services Center at 227 W. Judd Street is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. School offices have also returned to their regular hours. School office hours are as follows:
April 9, 2014Olson 4th graders are again participating in the "Mustang Big Give". This program, which is supported by a grant from the District 200 Education Foundation, allows students to do a career-service based learning project. The program has been in place for 6 years and has evolved and grown as a service learning/social studies opportunity. To date students have raised over $9500 for charities.
April 8, 2014The District 200 Spring Art Show will be held from April 29 thorugh May 9 at the Woodstock Public Library. Visit the library during regular library hours to see students' artwork on display.
