January 12, 2017Olson kicks off the 2016-2017 Reading Challenge - CRACK THE CODE TO READING. Each week through February 10 students will be challenged to read each day and log their minutes. At the end of each week completed reading logs are turned in for incentives.
January 11, 2017Since October 2016, District 200 has gone through a process to review our facilities. This group is comprised of community members, administration, and staff, who have been engaged in a process of reviewing the current state of District 200 facilities along with examining future needs for facility utilization.

November 15, 2016On December 8, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. Olson students will participate in the "Hour of Code". It is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of student to one hour of computer science and computer programming. October 31, 2016We invite all Olson families to join us for an evening of literature and snacks to celebrate Illinois Family Reading Night. Many of our classrooms will be transformed into cafes, with books and snacks served throughout the building.
September 28, 2016Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 will have 4 school board seats to be filled at the April 4, 2017 Consolidated Election. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2021.
August 22, 2016In the first few weeks of school, all 5th grader students will see a band instrument demonstration assembly, hear all the instruments and learn about how band works, and then get the opportunity to try out the instrument choices. The Band Handbook and registration materials will be going home shortly after the assembly to get students signed up.
